Although 24V products with a plug can technically be installed yourself, we chose to have the lighting professionally installed to save time and spare ourselves the hassle. Installing the LED strip, mounting the profiles, and completing the other tasks took about three hours, some of which was spent aligning and adjusting the profiles due to our slightly curved wall.
