Cooperation between Ekastra and LedStore
LedStore has many good partners in the electrical installation, construction and renovation sectors. This time we are featuring Ekastra, which like LedStore is a small company focused on quality and good customer service. Ekastra offers quality home renovation and construction services. Their activities reflect the same quality criteria, both in terms of service and implementation, that we at LedStore are based on.

LedStore’s Paja service can supply ready-to-install, made-to-measure LED strip solutions. The service is popular with consumers, but many installation and renovation companies also prefer to order the strips ready for installation. This makes it easier and faster to install LED strips on site and the time saved is money. Also in Ekastra, the simple and beautiful LED strip has been used in several places. Light and atmosphere with indirect light
“This semi-detached house in Helsinki was completely renovated according to the plans of an interior architect. Indirect light was added with LED strips in several spaces. Often in our sites, the designs still have specific requirements for colour temperature and dimmability.”, describes Pauliina Kolehmainen of Ekastra Oy.
In the LedStore range you will find both monochrome, colour temperature controlled (CCT) and colour adjustable (RGB) LED strips. All our ribbons have a top colour rendering index, most often CRI+95, which allows the colours of the interior to be reproduced as the interior designer intended. The Led strip provides good light output and a minimalist appearance.
In the pictures below, the shower strips are installed in a shed roof structure, so that the only light visible from the roof gap is the light created by the LED strip, which makes the installation look particularly neat. Also pictured is the kitchen LED strip, which has created a very even countertop lighting in the kitchen.

“These photos are from a renovation of a detached house in Helsinki, also designed by an interior architect. In this project, Ledstore’s custom service was particularly useful, allowing the long and winding strip in the bathroom ceiling to be prefabricated and the on-site installation to be speeded up considerably. In addition, dimming works well and there are wired and wireless options”, Ekastra Oy.

Sauna led strip lighting
“And these photos are from the renovation of the sauna and fireplace room in a detached house in Helsinki. Ledstore’s custom strips were also used here. Once the products are finished and tested, they are sure to be durable and leak-proof, which is of course especially important in bathrooms and saunas.”

LedStore colour temperature adjustable led strips
At LedStore you will find LED strips with colour temperature control of light for various installation applications. Currently, the most popular CCT tapes have been our SOLO series, which are completely dot-free and have an excellent colour rendering index.
CCT SOLO 3.6W/m, 24V
Installation locations: sauna, plinths, stairs, outdoor railings
The Solo 3.6W/m strip light can be adjusted between 2700K and 6500K. The colour rendering index of the tape is 94-95 which means that the colours reproduce well (the colours reproduce best with 4000K white light, because there is no yellowish or bluish tint involved). The Solo 3.6W/m ribbon is very flat and efficient, 350 lumens/m and has 360 LED circuits per metre. This LED strip is dimmable and colour control is available by ordering a VaLO RF or Zigbee (CCT) pushbutton and receiver (CCT) or by connecting the strip to a DALI 2 system.
CCT SOLO 7.2W/m, 24V
Installation locations: sauna, plinths, stairs, outdoor railings if a little more light is desired, shelves
The Solo 7.2W/m light strip can be adjusted between 2700K and 6500K. The colour rendering index of the tape is 94-95 which means that the colours reproduce well (the colours reproduce best with 4000K white light, because there is no yellowish or bluish tint involved). The Solo 7.2W/m ribbon is very flat and efficient, at 795 lumens/m and has 640 LED circuits per metre. This LED strip is dimmable and colour control is available by ordering a VaLO RF or Zigbee (CCT) pushbutton and receiver (CCT) or by connecting the strip to a DALI 2 system.
CCT SOLO 14.4W/m, 24V
Installation positions: indirect light, worktop light, general light
The Solo 14.4W/m strip light can be adjusted between 2700K and 6500K. The colour rendering index of the tape is 94-95 which means that the colours reproduce well (the colours reproduce best with 4000K white light, because there is no yellowish or bluish tint involved). The Solo 7.2W/m ribbon is very uniform and efficient, with 1584 lumens/m and 840 LED circuits per metre. This LED strip is dimmable and colour control is available by ordering a VaLO RF or Zigbee (CCT) pushbutton and receiver (CCT) or by connecting the strip to a DALI 2 system.
Led lighting expert
